David Moss has 15 years expertise developing and architecting commercial software products and solutions  covering desktop, client/server, web,  and rich internet applications.

David is the founder of Moss Solutions which focuses on providing business intelligence and location intelligence software and services.

David previously worked at MapInfo/Pitney Bowes MapInfo, and his background is with location intelligence and business intelligence: including creating mapping, spatial analysis, and geocoding applications. David’s most recent experience involved designing and implementing location intelligence integrations into the reporting and dashboard environments of Business Objects and MicroStrategy.

David is passionate about keeping up with and using the latest technologies to bring robust, innovative solutions to customers.  He was at the forefront in creating MapInfo’s first geocoding and internet mapping solutions, and introducing Java and Flash technologies to MapInfo offerings.  He has received the company’s quarterly Star Award for bringing a “groundbreaking product to market”.

He is a valedictorian, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Union College, where he also received departmental honors and the Martin Terry Resch Prize in Mathematics. David then earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in mathematics at the University at Albany, and has four publications in the field of algebraic number theory.
